Plug- and play-solutions for applications in hazardous areas
Temporary but safe disconnection of power and signals is critcal in many industries. HAWKE Connectors provide an alternative to hard-wiring methods where quick plug and play connection, disconnection or mobility is required. By pre-terminating the connectors, the amount of wiring required (onshore and offshore) is dramatically lower, reducing costs, time and possibility of errors as the connectors can be tested prior to shipping and installation. Where items require regular maintenance or calibration, the connectors are also invaluable.
RCG - Rapid Connection Gland
The 501/RCG cable gland combines the features of HAWKE's market-leading Ex cable glands with the plug-and-play advantages of a connector.
InstrumEx - Connector
The InstrumEx connector's design allows the live mate and de-mating of signal and low power in hazardous areas safely and quickly. They are suitable for Ethernet applications and the installation in Ex d-enclosures or Ex e-junction boxes
ControlEx - Connector
The robust stainless steel body of the ControlEx connector can hold up to 60 contacts and will accept conductor sizes ranging between 0.5mm² and 35mm², operating up to 125 A and 750 V dependent on contact arrangement and certification approvals. It is suitable for installation to Ex d enclosures or Ex e junction boxes.
PowerEx - Connector
The PowerEx connectoris specially designed for the extremely demanding requirements of higher power applications. The inserts are available with 1 to 4 contacts with a conductor acceptance range of between 50,0mm² and 630,0mm² operating up to 780 A and 750 V. Other voltages available on request.
