Energy with a tail wind

Cable glands or cord grips are used in the wind energy industry to install cables safely in wind turbines and their control panels. They are used to protect the cables from moisture, dust and dirt and provide them with anchorage.

Jacob cable entry solutions are available in the following materials:

  • brass & lead-free brass
  • stainless steel
  • plastics

They come in many variations, sizes and thread types like metric, Pg, NPT and pipe thread.

Sometimes size does matter!

Our products are also built to match the enormous size of modern wind turbines and their cables. The WADI cable gland series from Jacob is available in thread sizes of up to M100 or G 4“ and they can seal, clamp and protect cables with diameters of up to 75mm.
