Information to Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a new rule under Section 6 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) on 02.05.2021 to ban 5 PBT substances in products in the USA in the short term, subject to various exemptions. The substances, which have been banned from import, processing/manufacturing, and sale in the USA since March 8, 2021, are:

Jacob GmbH does not produce any raw materials or mixtures itself, but processes the procured materials into the final products. Regarding compliance with the listed TSCA guidelines, we are in contact with our material suppliers and distribution partners, who assure us that all materials delivered to Jacob GmbH comply with the TSCA specifications.

Thus, according to our current knowledge, we can confirm that none of the listed substances are contained in our products or exceed the permissible concentrations.
