WADI cable glands can hold their own anywhere

Our proven cable gland series WADI one, WADI heat, and WADI zero cover a wide range of temperatures and offer excellent UV, ozone, and weather resistance. This makes them ideal for use in demanding outdoor environments.

WADI one has an operating temperature range of -40 to +100 °C, while 
WADI zero can even handle temperatures from -60 to +100 °C. And 
WADI heat – some like it hot – can withstand even higher temperatures, from -40 °C to +200 °C.

WADI cable glands achieve high protection classes from IP66/IP68 up to 15 bar (30 min.)/IP69, depending on the type.

It's your choice

The WADI family is constantly growing. Initially, WADI was only planned as a metric series. After our WADI fittings had successfully established themselves on the market, we introduced WADI one with NPT threads, and now WADI one with Pg threads is a NEW addition.

Furthermore, we are now launching a new WADI one EMC-cable gland with metric thread. In addition to the existing version with EMC shield clamp, our customers can now choose the new version with EMC contact spring, which enables a quick and easy EMC connection from the outside. 

Both EMC types connect the cable shield with the gland body and the housing potential securely. 

Which one's better? It depends on your type of installation.

Within the WADI series you can choose from 3 different materials:

  • Brass CuZn39Pb3, nickel-plated (max. 3% lead)
  • Lead free brass CuZn21Si3P, nickel-plated
  • Stainless steel 1.4404 / AISI 316L

All of these material are in compliance with the European RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive. If exemption 6c for lead in brass no longer applies, our WADI in lead-free brass is the right choice.
