Perfect ventilation
Hermetically sealed enclosures with a high protection grade of IP67 or IP68 for outdoor use are by no means automatically gas-tight. In order to prevent negative pressure, high humidity and condensation forming inside the enclosure, constant pressure equalization and air exchange must take place. This protective function can be implemented quickly and easily by using a Jacob venting element JDAE or a PERFECT AirVent ventilation cable gland. And we have a large selection of these!

New: High Airflow Venting Element
The newest addition to our ventilation solutions is the High Airflow JDAE. Inside, the high airflow membrane ensures constant ventilation and adjustment of the internal pressure. The venting element thus protects electrical components against condensation in hermetically sealed electrical and electronic enclosures. The PTFE high airflow membrane is water and oil repellent. Like all our venting elements and ventilation fittings, the High Airflow JDAE can be used in a temperature range of -40 °C / +100 °C and achieves the protection grades IP66 / IP68 - 0.2 bar (30 min.) / IP69.
