Specialization has always been an outstanding characteristic of Jacob GmbH. In 1922, Wilhelm Jacob founded the company to manufacture special turned parts made of brass for the electrical industry. Specialization, high quality and customer orientation still characterize Jacob today. We are the absolute specialist for cable glands and cable entry systems made of metal and plastic.

At Jacob, all areas of the company are united under one roof. Turning technology and plastics technology have been housed here in Kernen-Rommelshausen since 1973. The production areas were constantly modernized and expanded over the following decades. Mold and tool making were added, as well as an in-house laboratory. And since 2009, our state-of-the-art logistics center here at the site has ensured optimum availability. R&D, QA, sales and administration are located in the same premises. This enables us to respond quickly and flexibly to our customers' requirements.
