The use of Jacob cable glands and accessories in the machine construction sector
(Kernen, 18.08.2011) The machine construction sector in India is booming. This is also good news for the medium-sized company Jacob in Swabia, which has specialised in the manufacture of screwed cable glands and accessories. For many years now Jacob has been a supplier for ACE MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS PVT LTD, for short AMS, from India. Numerous machines are equipped with screwed cable glands and the associated accessories from Jacob.
AMS is one of the biggest machine construction companies in India and has specialised in the manufacture of vertical and horizontal machining centres. Thanks to this growing infrastructure it is possible for AMS to produce more than 1,500 machines a year. Production can be increased to 3,000 machines a year on the area that is available.
Customers include small and medium-sized companies, but also big companies such as Bosch, Suzuki and Honda.
